If you haven't seen Mononoke, you have to see it. I'm not talking about Miyazaki's Mononoke-hime, either.

First you need to watch episodes 9-11 of Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales. That's the Medicine Seller's arc where he's first introduced. Then he got a spin off series, Mononoke. 12 episodes. When you watch the last arc, you'll be glad you saw the last arc in Ayakashi.

I'm not big on the horror genre, but holy crap. I just loved it.

I never plan to draw the Medicine Seller/Kusuriuri because.. I don't want to ruin something so awesome. But I love the use of flats.. it kind of reminds me of Joshua Middleton's style, with the way Kusuriuri's hair seems always connected.



Please don't try to ship him with anyone.
